It's important 

Rarely is it unnecessary 

You can put it in your back pocket 

And pull it out when you need 

It is equivalent to sunshine falling in the evening 

A smile goes a long way 

God blessed you with the ability to press forward on a rainy day 

Never let the cloud cover get in your way 

Be hopeful that even in the midst of your storm 

Everything will be okay

Fine Wine

Yesterday has passed away and faded into the background

If memorable it ages like fine wine 

Today is the result of all the decisions made the day before

The present is the gift that keeps on giving

Tomorrow is the new day we prepare for

It is full of wonder, excitement and opportunity

We run towards it with hope, joy and laughter

Good Men

Good gracious, Lord have mercy 

Cover me in your grace 

Wrap me in your love 

Turn me not from your face 

I have sinned 

Again and again 

Dug, deep, dark trenches 

For the hearts and souls 

Of good men 

Knowing I could never 

Care for them 

I get it in 

Impaired evenings lavished 

With Dom Perignon, fast food and gin

At some point 

Ya gonna speak 

Only so many times 

You can kiss on a man’s neck 

And make his mind go weak

Help

Eyes closed 

Head bowed 

Hands clasped 

Knees touching the ground 

Prayers raised high 

That's why we are hopeful 

All the time

Because we know... 

Where are hope comes from

Competition

Move past the competition with ease and grace 

There are no competitors in a one man race 

There is no fear here 

Your presence can not be replaced

Because you were put in place by God 

Think it not strange 

Though some may see it as odd 

You were choose for a reason to walk a path 

That many can not follow 

Some follow ambitions that are vain and hollow 

But your faith will persevere

Let Christ be the light to your footsteps

Hold your head high 

You will dance on water 

You will walk on baby blue sky
