Right Season

Peace, ease, laughter and hope 

The beautiful of the moment 

And the time to cope 

Surrounded and wrapped in dreams 

That knows no bounds 

Prayers sent to heaven 

From quivering lips, dripping in hope 

And answered with love 

For once to know my tears, struggles and triumph

Are well thought of 

I was fashioned and designed for a special reason 

While I thought Jesus didn't care about my pain... 

He was just waiting for me 

To enter the right season

Why is it so hard to say, I love you? 

No matter the things we go through... 

I still care. 

And when you need a friend to be around. 

I will do my best to be there. 

No matter the cost. 

I'll pay your fare. 

Us together is the good time that keeps on giving. 

The laugh that should've stopped but keeps on going. 

Eyes slanted with tears of laughter and the grin of white teeth showing. 

Gut busting, knee slapping chuckles ensue. 

There is something awesome about being next to you. 

Our moments make life a little sweeter. 

No matter what kind of day I'm having... 

I'm always happier to see ya.

Difficult Situations

 


Sometimes you have to figure out difficult situations fast. Pick up the pieces, laugh at the irony and keep trucking along. As you build your faith, the yoke becomes light and the burden is easy. So let the creases in the corners of your mouth perk up. Because a genuine smile is better than sunshine on rye bread. It rains on the just and the unjust no one can deny the downpour. But joy waits on the other side for those who persevere.
